Carolina Shag is the state dance of North Carolina and the Triangle has weekly shag socials with beach music DJs. Downtown Wilmington has the densest run of nights: contra and swing at the Hannah Block Community Arts Center, free Latin socials on Front Street and Castle Street, and West Coast Swing out on Oleander Drive.
